
Come along and join our chair yoga class with Carol on Tuesdays .This Gentle Hatha class uses a chair and props. There will be invitations during the class to stand and use the chair to support yoga poses and movement as individual students feel is appropriate for them. The class can however be completed as chair based movement and modifications will always be given. Traditional yoga practices will be taught in stages and students are encouraged to listen deeply to what they need taking the support and modifications needed moment to moment to feel safe. There’ll be use of techniques for breathing and body awareness whilst mindfully building strength, range of movement and offering opportunities to explore balance and posture. A chair is a useful tool and can help you access the movement and yoga postures with more ease.
Yoga is a way to practice being gentle, balanced and giving, nourishing mind and body. A regular Yoga practice is proven to be beneficial for health & wellbeing, physically & mentally .
