Join Andrea for this therapeutic yoga class which will be focusing on pranayama – breath work and a gentle asana – posture practice which will be built around the breath.
We are aware of the positive impact of pranayama/breathing practices on our mind, as well as a preparatory tool for meditation.
Over the last few years, there has been extensive research on the breath and its impact on the autonomic nervous system, stress reduction, the heart variability, the health of the blood vessels, blood pressure and neurotransmitters. Pranayama techniques are also excellent tools for connecting us with
our conscious state of being.
