SUMMARY:First Aid training for Yoga Teachers/ Student Teachers
DESCRIPTION:This is the 4th Year that Stephen Smith has run this first aid course at Om on behalf of the British Wheel of Yoga. \nThe course is aimed specifically at yoga teachers\, therefore all the information is relevant. \nThis is not a generic\, first aid course. \nAs a yoga teacher it will be the most useful one you do. \nThe day is open to all yoga teachers and student teachers alike. You do not need to be British Wheel registered to attend \nBWY considers it best practice that all BWY teachers and student teachers hold a current Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate and update this every three years. This applies for yoga taught online\, in-person\, live and recorded on any platform. \nFirst aid is a practical and active subject\, and it is recommended that sensible clothing is worn. \nPlease also ensure that no lipstick/lip gloss is worn during the CPR sessions as these products can stain the manikins and make cleaning them between participants difficult. \nIt is essential that you bring with you photo identification\, this is required for your certification on the day.
