Gillian Shippey

I started teaching yoga 22 years ago and qualified as a Yoga Therapist 10 years ago.  For many years I specialised in women’s health (pregnancy yoga, birth preparation, post natal recovery, baby yoga and yoga for menstrual health including menopause, endometriosis, prolapse etc), although since experiencing a brain haemorrhage and surgery 13 years ago I have also specialised in using yoga to support people with anxiety, depression, nervous system issues and trauma. Most of my therapeutic work is carried out on a 1-2-1 basis although I do endeavour to ensure that my weekly online group classes are inclusive and accessible, and help to resource people to feel stronger, happier and more at ease.
