Writing for Wellness Workshops

Writing for Wellness or “journaling” is a great way to increase self- awareness and promote positivity, as well as encouraging you to face any fears or issues you may have hidden deep down in your subconscious. When we let go of hard feelings, we create headspace for new opportunities and promote a practice of gratitude and hope.

We are not talking about excessive over thinking which can lead to anxiety, we are simply wanting to create a safe, calm space free of judgement where you can understand your inner life, get it down on paper and leave feeling lighter.
What is included in the Workshop?

  • 1.5 Hours of Guided Journalling/Writing Time
  • An opportunity to share your work (you do NOT have to do this)
  • Refreshments – tea and biscuits

Please bring your own journal an a pen, beginning your Writing Journey with fresh stationary is always encouraged.  Or as an alternative, you can purchase an Earth Pathway journal from OM Shop or journal and/or pen sold by Charlotte! Bring some cash if you wish to purchase on the day!

Please note this is a “mat event” meaning you will have a yoga mat to sit on to write.* However if you require chair please let us know and we prepare your space accordingly.

Journaling is a powerful tool for the development of a deep inner connection with your own thoughts and feelings. Led by Charlotte Russell (MA CW) these workshops encourage your own thought processes to run alongside a narrative where you are the main character.
By booking a place at our Writing for Wellness Workshops from Charlotte Russell Writing, you do so under the understanding that it is given for wellness, research, guidance and entertainment purposes only. Any choices you make based on your own journalling, remain your sole personal and legal responsibility.
If you require specific medical or other advice, you should seek a suitably licensed professional. Our journalling sessions are not designed to replace prescribed, medical, or professional therapy.

Sunday 3rd March 2024: The Butterfly A Journey to the acceptance of Change
Sunday 21st April 2024: The Mirror A Journey to Self-Worth
3.30pm to 5.00pm followed by an optional 30 mins social time for tea, biscuits and a natter!

£20.00 for one session or £50 for all 3 sessions.
– 50% goes to our OM Yoga Works Foundation.
